Privacy Policy

Who we are

Turnover Capital (ABN 89 439 140 332) ("we", "us"). We provide business-purpose finance to incorporated Australian businesses. This policy explains how we handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

Application information you provide through our eligibility screen and application form: business name, website, contact name, email, phone number, and your answers to our screening questions (business structure, trading history, revenue band, funding purpose and financial position).

Financial and transaction data, with your consent: if your application proceeds, you may grant us read-only access to your revenue platform (such as Stripe or Shopify), accounting file (such as Xero or MYOB) and bank transaction feed via an accredited data provider. We use this solely to assess your application and, if a facility is provided, to monitor it for its term. Access is granted by you and revocable by you.

Identity verification information: for directors and beneficial owners of borrowing companies, we collect and verify identity documents as required by law.

Why we collect it

To assess eligibility and applications for finance; to document, provide and manage facilities; to communicate with you about your application or facility; to meet our legal obligations, including customer due diligence, record keeping and reporting under applicable laws; and, where you opt in, to notify you if our lending criteria change.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose it to: service providers who support our operations (identity verification, banking data, form and hosting providers, direct debit processors, professional advisers), each under confidentiality obligations; regulators and government agencies where required by law; and parties involved in a facility, such as guarantors' advisers, where relevant. Some service providers may store data outside Australia; where they do, we take reasonable steps to ensure comparable privacy protections apply.

Storage, security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, including access controls and encrypted services. We retain customer identification and transaction records for at least seven years as required by law, after which information is deleted or de-identified.

Access, correction and complaints

You may request access to or correction of your personal information, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing apply@turnovercapital.com.au. We will respond within a reasonable period. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Analytics and cookies

Our website may use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) that collect de-identified usage data via cookies to help us understand how the site is used. You can disable cookies in your browser without affecting your ability to apply.
